Has spring sprung?

The air has a new freshness to it and it seems that the city turned green overnight. Guess that's what happens when it rains for days on end and then gets all sunny and beautiful. We went for a walk along the creek last night and could not believe how transformed everything felt.
It reminded me of my time at Canada Blooms in Toronto a few months ago. I just had to share these two images from the displays at Canada Blooms. Wouldn't it be fun if we could do something similar in our gardens? I'd love to have those circles forming a welcoming archway into my back yard. And a wall of flowers and greenery would be so lovely at the front entrance.
Can you tell I'm getting anxious to get into the garden? They started backfilling around the house today so I'm getting hopeful that I will soon be out there digging in the dirt and making it lovely. I planted some sweet peas and some Bells of Ireland in planting trays last night. I've never done either of these flowers indoors before so it should be interesting. I just can't wait to see little shoots and then little plants and then plants and then glory!
