The unveiling

Today was the day, the stitching group I belong to unveiled their challenge pieces and there was some lovely work done! One woman made a banner for her front door to welcome visitors, another made everyone little luggage handle covers to help identify our bags as they come off the conveyor belt, another made a project bag, there were two wall hangings in addition to mine, and the scrapbooker in our midst made a very moving shadowbox arrangement for one of our members who is threatening to move to Ottawa in the very near future.

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so have no pictures of all this cleverness. I'll try to get pics from our hostess as she was busy with her camera. They really were so interesting to see!

And then, I issued a challenge--try something you've never done before. As it turns out, several of us did that in this challenge which is interesting. Anyway, I will try something out, maybe with Lutradur or melting felt or...
